But who is Sciura?

“Sciura” is a term used in the Milanese dialect to indicate a married woman, generally middle-aged or older and of a certain social position. It is similar to the Italian term “signora” or the English “madam” and is often used as a term of respect or courtesy. The term is part of the Milanese cultural heritage and is often used in the daily life of the city.
